The latest installment in the Call of Duty series, from the outside looking in, may look like a stale rehash of the last Modern Warfare. Once you pick up the game and actually play it you will change your mind. Every thing has been revamped and polished even down to the gun sounds. Every time I pick up the game it feels like a fresh experience.
Activision said Friday that within the first 24 hours of the new “Call of Duty” game’s release, 6.5 million units were sold for $400 million in North America and the U.K.
If you haven’t noticed it is Call of Duty season. People are going outside for the first time since last year and are lining up for the newest Call of Duty. Reports from France say that a truck full of the newest Call of Duty were stolen. This was no regular heist though this is one straight out of the movies. The thieves rammed the truck off the road and then used tear gas to subdue the driver. Their weapon of choice? Knives. They must have had the commando perk on. They made it out with about 6000 copies valued at $360,000. Obviously these perpetrators were MLG Pro.
